I’m Steffi and I’m a German college student on the way to getting my degree in English and German Literature. I love to read, do anything with my hilarious friends, write and go hiking and running, preferably with my dog, a yellow lab, because she can run for miles and motivates me to go on. Hi, I’m Karla! So glad you stopped by to visit. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a 53 year old mother to one fantastic 22 year old son. About 2 years ago, I was home recuperating from a car accident when my son purchased some of the Twilight books for me. I was hooked. I could not get my hands on books with a romance theme fast enough. Paranormal, suspense, historical, contemporary, I love them all. I guess you could say I got Swept Away by Romance!!

I love to read and review romance novels. I haven't always been an avid reader but discovered recently, since my children are in school and I have more time, that I enjoy reading. I was also surprised to discover that I love to share my thoughts and feelings about the stories that I read. My favorite books have well drawn-out characters with substance and an engaging plot. Goodreads is my addiction, and Happily-Ever-Afters are a must!

Hi everyone, my name is Kathleen and I have two passions in my life. Number 1 is my family, and following in a VERY close second is my passion for reading HOT romances. I started reading historical romances about 12 years ago, before that I never read a book. All it took was one HOT book and I was on my way to becoming addicted to reading. Since then I have read and enjoyed many types of romances and now I read anything that sizzles!  I'm very good at picking out the type of book that I know I will enjoy, and it's not often I read a book that I do not like. I consider myself a very easy to please reader and when I review a book I like to express how a  book made me feel. I hope you enjoy my reviews.

Splage

Hi, they call me Splage, which is my nickname from college and coincidentally the same college that one of my favorite authors, Kristen Ashley attended as well. My claim to fame is that I never read a novel for fun at any time until I was 43 years old. When I tried to read when I was younger I would be asleep within 15 minutes. The problem…I never read a romance or at least a good romance. So let me thank Stephanie Meyers, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Diana Gabaldon, Kristen Ashley, Brenda Joyce, Lisa Kleypas, Julie Garwood, Lorelei James, and many more for opening my eyes real wide. Now, since I started reading romance I can’t stop. I have read over a thousand books, (average about 200 a year) and I can’t seem to get enough.

I love most types of romance, especially contemporary, historical, and erotica, but I am a little burnt out on paranormals at this time. When I read historical romances I tend to go more for the medieval time, highlanders, or early American than the Regency and Victorian time frames. I think this is because I like my heroes rough and tough and all alpha. I really enjoy love triangles and other women plots. These themes tend to add enough spice and jealousy to get me hot and bothered. Even though I do have my comfort zone I have found many great books and new authors that push me to examine some new boundaries recently.

On the more personal side, I am from the United States and currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. I am 47 years young, have 3 kids (2 in high school and 1 in college), and I have been married to my college sweetheart for 21 years. He is my very own Jamie Fraser from the Outlander, which is my favorite romance hero of all times
